Yukon Mining

Exploration activities are taking place all over Yukon on a variety of deposits. To date, exploration has uncovered over 80 mineral deposits with resources, some of world-class stature. In addition, 2,600 mineral occurrences have been found in Yukon on mining claims that cover only 3.6 percent of Yukon land. This is very rich land indeed! Yukon has only just begun to tap its natural resources.
